This provides a surface which diffuses light to reduce reflectivity and glare. It is used for decorative effect applications, or to reduce surface reflection. Since aluminum embossing is a stable and durable material, it provides excellent service as roofing or cladding without the need for any protective coating. Aluminum's highly reflective surface will be darkened by prolonged exposure to sunlight, wind, rain, sand, and dust, becoming an even patina surface. The changes in appearance will be consistent along the elevation.
